Bayern Munich and Juventus battle it out for Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey as it’s revealed he wants £9m-a-year. JUVENTUS and Bayern Munich will go head-to-head for Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey, according to reports.

The Welshman is a free agent next summer and will leave the Emirates after the club's contract offer was sensationally withdrawn.

Ramsey, 27, has attracted interest from several clubs, including Chelsea, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Inter and AC Milan.

But Calciomercato claim the Serie A champions have made their move with a huge £9 million-a-year offer for Ramsey to join them on a free transfer next summer.

The Milan clubs are unable to match those numbers leaving the Turin giants as the clear front-runner for the midfielder’s signature.

Juve boss Max Allegri is looking to bolster his midfield options with the arrival of Ramsey.

However, Bayern still fancy their chances of persuading Ramsey to snub Italy and move to Germany.

Bayern boss Niko Kovac is keen to bolster his midfield to provide competition for Leon Gotetzka, Thiago Alcantara and James Rodriguez.

Juve and Bayern could even sign the Gunners star on a pre-contract agreement when the transfer windows open next month.

Juventus signed Emre Can on a free transfer from Liverpool in the summer after his contract expired.
Ramsey has been in North London since leaving Cardiff ten years ago.

His imminent exit has perplexed a huge section of the Gunners faithful – Ramsey was voted Player of the season last by Arsenal fans for the second time during his decade at the club.
